The Cupa Group Foundation has donated a thousand euros to help fund research on treatment against pancreatic cancer, and to organize the “Carrera de las Ciudades” (Race of the Cities) in Vilamartín de Valdeorras (Ourense), an initiative driven by the Spanish Association of Pancreatology (AESPANC) and the Pancreatic Cancer Association (ACANPAN) to raise funds for research into this disease.
The Valdeorras Pancreatic Cancer Association (ACAPAVAL) organized the second edition of this charity run in Vilamartín, for which more than a thousand people signed up. A variety of other local institutions and private companies also contributed to this event.
